In the past, the club has worked on projects including a solar-powered fountain for the community garden in Somerville, MA, demonstration of solar cooking at UMass Lowell's Spring Carnival, an educational bulletin board in the Engineering Building, and community outreach.
Presently, the club is very involved with the Peru Project.
The club website is independently maintained offsite by the students participating in the solar energy club.
