Here is Dennis Villanueva, a graduate student in the solar engineering program, working with Jose, a local technician in Malvas. Dennis and Jose have spent many hours together during the last several trips, working on installing and debugging the equipment.

The most important factor in sustainable solar development is educating the people who are the members of the community which will use the equipment on how and why it works, and what to do when it ceases to work, and what further possibilities the technology has.
