Future Work (by January 2007)

We have many requests for work, and here are just a few for future trips:

• Design and install new water pumping systems and improve the ones that are already installed.

• Design and install biodigestors that can work at high altitude and low temperature. Some of them with solar water heater. 

• Provide more training for operation and maintenance of the systems already installed. 

• Install more solar panels, lights, and fridges.  Even though some villages have been connected to grid for electricity in recent time, the power is unavailable for several months of the year.

• Continue helping to start the SolarTec business making and selling solar headlamps.

• Start microenterprises making and selling bottles with photocatalyst coating for solar water purification along with indicator dye. 

• Make and install portable solar vaccine refrigerators.

• Develop more aquaculture systems

• Visit new Valleys that have requested helps. 

• PC and radio network for exchanging files and messages in the Huarmey and Casma networks.

• Design and construction of solar dryers for mint, camomile, oregano, and other herbs.
